The Earth : Something that you must know.

The story of the Earth began about 4.6 billion years ago when dust whirling around the newborn Sun started to clump into lumps of rock called planetesimals gravity, these planetesimals then clumped together to form the Earth and other planets

The Earth is unique in the Solar system because it is the only planet with running water on the surface and life. Seen from space, the Earth is a planet of oceans.

Only about 29 per cent is land. Earth is home to a huge variety of living things that can survive here because of all this water.

Earth's atmosphere would have been poisonous to animals. Early microscopic plants gradually converted carbon dioxide gas into oxygen gas for animals to breathe.
